ISKRA is an 18+ game, but not for the sake of being one. There are very few people making games today that prioritize telling a story over everything else. There are bills to pay and expectations to uphold, and the all-seeing eye of the internet is cruel and ruthless. But the story doesn't choose how it reveals itself to me, and to put any sort of restraint on it has never really been an option. The internet is a wild, brutal and explicit place, and I believe that to be a reflection of human nature - shadow included. Isn't that the most fascinating rabbithole one could attempt to explore?

That being said - every single word of ISKRA has meaning and nothing is there to simply provoke a reaction. It contains nudity, sex, profanity/slurs, and some gore, all acting as building blocks of a fun, layered story.

We live in an era of platforms though, and this means somebody else almost always has the final word on how you’re allowed to tell your stories.
